Description : A small tree, with more or less spinescent branches. Leaves 7.6-15.2 cm long, narrowly oblong or ovate-lanceolate, glabrous. Flowers few in axillary fascicles. Fruits small, nearly globular, purplish-red when ripe, crowened by persistant calyx-limb.
