Description : A bulbous herb, with truncate bulbs, 5-10 cm long, ovoid. Leaves radical, appearing after the flowers, 15-45 cm long, linear, acute. Scape erect, 30-45 cm long. Flowers small, dingy brown, very distant, on slender, laxly flowered racemes, 15-30 cm long. Capsules 1.3-2 cm long, ellipsoid, tapering to both ends.
