Description : Shrubby, softly hairy and with much stellate hairs nearly all over. Leaves 2.5-5 cm long, cordate, ovate-oblong, crenate, obtuse or subacute, long petioled. Flowers yellow, 1 to few in leaf axils, calyx 6-8 mm long, lobes ovate, acute, corolla yellow, slightly exceeding the calyx. Fruit 6-8 m diam, carpels 7-10.
Distribution : Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and other districts in fallow lands.
