| Description : | An annual herb, 0.6-2.4 m high, stem often very thick, grooved. Leaves lyrate-pinnatifid, white-cottony beneath, radical, petioled, 10-20 cm long, cauline sessile, uppermost sinuate-lobed or entire. Heads broad, on long grooved peduncles, arranged in large open panicled corymbs, 2.5 cm diam. Involucral bract tinged with purple. Corolla 8 mm long, very slender, pale red. |
