Description : A large shrub to small tree. Leaves 10-30.5 cm long, from ovate to linear-lanceolate or linear-oblong, acuminate, 3-nerved, pustulate above and densely white-tomentose beneath. Spikes in branched cymes, about equally to the petiole, flowers minute.
Distribution : Forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Sylhet and Mymensingh.
Chemical Constituents : -
Uses : Chakma in Chittagong Hill Tracts use leaf paste for the treatment of boils and blisters on the lips.
