Male flowers in axillary, sessile clusters. Petals 5, ovate-oblong, obtuse, yellow. Stamens 3, free, inserted at base of calyx tube; anthers oblong, ciliate. Female flowers solitary or in clusters. Ovary villous. Berry, globose, red. Seeds lenticular, rugose. |
