Description : | Erect pubescent herbs; young shoots 4-angled. Leaves opposite below and alternate above, basal leaves often 3-foliolate, elliptic to lanceolate, base rounded, margin entire or irregularly crenate-serrate, apex acute, pubescent on both sides. Flowers axillary, solitary.Calyx-lobes 5, lanceolate, pubescent.Corolla white, tubular ventricose, 2-lipped, lobes 5.Stamens, didynamous; anthers oblong. Ovary long, pubescent. Capsule oblong, compressed, beaked, medianly grooved, pubescent. Seeds obovate, compressed, black, smooth. |
