Description : Perennial climbing herbs, 1.5-3.5 m long, branches 4-angled. Leaves 4 in a whorl, papery, lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 0.7-3.5 cm long, acuminate at apex, base cordate, 3-nerved.Petioles 1-2.5 cm long.Inflorescence in axillary and terminal panicle-cymes, many-flowered.Corolla light yellow, light brown in drying, lobes ovate, ca. 1.5 mm long, glabrous.Fruits globose, 4-5 mm in diameter, orange in maturity.
