Description : A tender, erect, annual, aromatic herb, up to 1 m high, branches 4-gonous. Leaves 2.5-5 cm, broadly ovate, obtuse, coarsely crenate-toothed. Flowers small, purplish-blue, in a panicled spike. Nutlets ellipsoid.
Distribution : Culivated in Jhum in Chittagong Hill Tracts.
