Description : An annual hirsute or villous herb. Leaves sessile or subsessile, oblong, acute or obtuse, serrate. Spikes 5-7.5 cm long, villous, flower small pink.
Distribution : Chittagong and Chittagong Hill Tracts, in fallow lands.

Uses : Leaf juice is used as eye drops in hysteria. The extract of the plant is given with salt in diarrhoea by the Marma in Bandarban.
