Description : A large, bushy branch-parasite. Leaves thick, coriaceous, 7.5-18 cm long, very variable in shape and venation, ovate, elliptic or linear-oblong, obtuse. Flowers in short, spreading stout axillary unilateral racemes. Corolla tubular, curved, 2.5-5 cm long, scarlet or orange or less commonly pink or white. Berry 8-13 mm long, ovoid-oblong, pink.
