Description : | A large woody perennial twiner. Leaves 10-20 cm long, ovate or ovate-oblong (the upper often subsegittately lanceolate), acute or acuminate, cordate. Flowers numerous, in lax racemes, most of the flowers abortive, usually only one fertile. Perianth 5-6.3 cm long, base globose, greenish-yellow, tube curved, mouth oblique, lip linear, obtuse. Capsules 2.5-3.8 cm long, globose-pyriform or oblong-ellipsoid. |
